About
The CISSP is the Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification from ISC2, positioned as the world’s premier cybersecurity leadership certification. It is a vendor-neutral credential that confirms you have the knowledge to design, implement and manage a best-in-class cybersecurity programme in any environment and to design, develop and manage an organisation’s overall security posture. It is built for security professionals who need both cybersecurity strategy and hands-on implementation, not just exam knowledge.
CISSP is widely recognised as the gold standard because it combines a rigorous exam with a requirement for verifiable professional experience, supported by the ISC2 Code of Ethics and ongoing Continuing Professional Education requirements to help keep skills up to date.
MENA Executive Training is an Official Training Provider, delivering CISSP training in Qatar with delivery in Doha, plus team delivery across the GCC including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the wider MENA region.
We are the first Qatar-based company to offer CISSP in Qatar.
Why take this Course / Certification?
As organisations pursue digital transformation, the threat landscape keeps expanding and cybersecurity leadership talent remains scarce. CISSP is designed to help close that gap, helping you build vendor-neutral skills that translate across technologies and methodologies, while developing broader technical and non-technical leadership capability. It is also commonly sought by employers as a way to increase credibility, raise visibility and open up career progression, supported by access to a strong peer network through ISC2 membership.
Who is CISSP for?
CISSP is particularly suited to information security professionals who want to demonstrate capability across security leadership and delivery. It is commonly aligned with roles such as Chief Information Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Compliance Manager or Officer, Director of Security, Information Architect, Information Manager or Information Risk Manager or Consultant, IT Specialist or Director or Manager, Network or System Administrator, Security Administrator, Security Architect or Analyst, Security Consultant, Security Manager and Security Systems Engineer or Security Engineer.
Prerequisites
To qualify for CISSP certification, candidates must have a minimum of five years cumulative full-time experience in two or more of the eight domains in the ISC2 CISSP Exam Outline. If you do not yet have the required experience, you can pass the exam and become an Associate of ISC2, then you have six years to gain the experience needed for full CISSP certification.
