Exam Details

Format: 150 multiple-choice questions
Scoring: Scaled score between 200 and 800; a minimum of 450 is required to pass
Delivery: Computer-based testing at authorised PSI centres or Online

Certification Requirements

To earn the CISA certification, candidates must:

Pass the CISA Exam
Work Experience: Have a minimum of five years of professional experience in information systems auditing, control, or security. Up to three years of experience can be waived based on certain educational qualifications or other certifications.
Application: Submit a completed application within five years of passing the exam.
Adhere to ISACA's Code of Professional Ethics
Continuing Professional Education (CPE): Agree to comply with the CPE policy to maintain certification, which includes earning 20 CPE hours annually and 120 CPE hours over a three-year period.
